A Bit About Me
The Root & Route Method was created for people who are ready to stop running on empty and start living with more purpose and peace. My approach is honest but encouraging. I’ll guide you with compassion while also helping you face what’s really keeping you stuck. Real change doesn’t come from surface-level fixes; it grows from understanding your roots and learning how to re-route in a healthier direction.

As a homeschooling mom of five, I know firsthand what it’s like to juggle life’s constant demands and still crave something more for yourself. After having kids, I went back to school and rediscovered my passion for helping others find balance, not just in their minds, but in their everyday lives. Also, as a wife to a veteran I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the resilience, strength, and individuality in people from all walks of life.

Clients work with me because they want genuine guidance, not perfection. Together, we look at the full picture, your mindset, lifestyle, and emotional patterns in order to create meaningful, sustainable growth that fits your real life.

I serve the greater El Paso area as well as the rest of Texas virtually.
My Education & Experience
I hold a Master’s Degree in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from Angelo State University, and I’m currently completing my second Master’s in Professional Counseling as I work toward becoming a licensed counselor. I also hold three Bachelor’s Degrees in Life Coaching, Addictions & Recovery, and Crisis Counseling from Liberty University, as well as an Associate’s Degree in Psychology from El Paso Community College.

My background combines both academic training and real-world experience in personal growth, emotional wellness, and holistic support. I’ve worked with individuals and families in a variety of settings, using practical tools that bridge mindset, lifestyle, and emotional awareness. While I have advanced training in counseling, I am not a licensed counselor, and the work I do through The Root & Route Method is solely within the scope of coaching. This practice serves as a bridge, a way to use my skills, education, and passion to help people find stability, clarity, and direction as I continue my path toward licensure.

My experience also includes leadership in the homeschooling community and a deep understanding of how stress, identity, and environment shape our well-being. I approach every client relationship with honesty, empathy, and respect, helping you not just to cope, but to create lasting change that feels authentic and attainable.
